"KIDS HELPING KIDS"
My name is Stephanie. I am a book consultant with USBORNE BOOKS.
This project will allow you to order books for kids who would love to receive
them. When the books are delivered to your home, your parents will help you
to take them to places like the homeless shelter, The Children's Home, a
daycare, your school library, etc.
1. After you get permission from your parents, get your friends involved.
2. Find ways to make money around the house for a month. Also tell your
relatives, teachers, neighbors what you are doing. Your parents can tell
their co-workers what you project is about. They will donate money to your
book project. Write letters to places of businesses to tell them. Sometimes
they will donate money.
3. After the month is over, have your parents to order books for you through
the following children's book website. The books will be delivered directly
to your home. Take them out and put a smile on childrens' faces.
