Description: We are dedicated to the education, health, safety and cultural enrichment of children 0-5 years of age and their families with the intention of preparing the preschoolers to enter the Shenendehowa Central School District. Meetings are open to all parents with preschool age children and younger, and all preschool teachers and daycare providers. Meetings are held the first Monday of each month in the Acadia Library on the Shen campus.

Explore the Fastest Growing Careers of the 21st Century

Come join us for an informative evening as our invited guests share their knowledge and experiences related to emerging career trends and how best to prepare our children for the rapidly changing world of higher education and work in the 21st century.

 

Participants/Presenters include:

  • Emily Reilly – Director of Human Resources for Fab 2, Global Foundries
  • Michael Relyea – President, Luther Forest Technology Campus
  • Frank Isele – Assistant Vice President Business Development, Seton Health
  • Michael Moore – Associate Director of Admissions, RPI
  • Debra A. DelBelso – Director of the Siena College Career Center  

Target Audience: 

Parents and students in grades 7 – 12, teachers, counselors, and administrators

 

Purpose:  

To inform and engage parents and students regarding career opportunities projected to be available in our region, state, country, and around the globe in the next several decades.  The program will include information related to educational requirements, salary ranges, and statistics that pertain to careers in the fastest growing sectors of our economy.
