Dear VAMCD members:
I am so excited and honored to be a part of this organization. This year, we
are co-sponsoring our 2nd annual day-long conference with the VCDA (Virginia
Career Development Association) on April 20, 2012 at the Virginia State
University in Petersburg. We hope to have our members join us for this wonderful event.
We are so pleased to announce the recipient of our 2012 Excellence in Multicultural
Counseling Award. Samuel Morton and counseling colleagues from Manassas City
Public Schools will receive the award for their dropout prevention work with Hispanic
and Latina girls. Congratulations!
